Last I heard, using hidden link was a no no. Is this true?

If so, would it be grounds for blacklisting?

I run a micro search engine. Yes its grounds, if you play with the black arts ...

The most important thing to a search engine is that the SERPs are good. Let me use the missconception that exists in the phase to make the point. Are you optimizing the search engine. If the answer is no ... they don't like you.

In other words do you have content! to back up the SERPs <edited again> to make the SERPs look good</>.

Anything they do is 99.99% robotic, and hidden links are on the list of things to program into the algo.

Best not to do it.
