The vast majority of links out there will never be clicked on, at least that's what my research implies. I have written my own software for the requested purpose, but no plans on selling that one so far.

Check out this collection [dmoz.org], which probably only contains a fraction of the sites that should actually be listed there.
Even if you look at only the listed ones, you can estimate them to contain roughly 300*3.5mio individual links. I think it is safe to assume that a maximum of 5% of those links will ever be clicked on by a human. That leaves us with a billion unclicked links. In reality, there are probably five to ten times as many of those, if not more. Remember that some sites create arbitrary numbers of copies through subdomains etc.
As the german language saying goes: "Kleinvieh macht auch Mist!" ;)
