<rant> I am so fed up with this kind of stupid email fishing, I just have to say something.
After over 10 years of making fairly successful websites, please don't tell me how to suck eggs.
If you like my sites link to them THAT IS HOW IT WORKS, for me at least. I will not link to you just because you promise me a return link. You have it all about face!
I have never asked for return links, I have found (very quickly) sites that link to me and if I think they may interest my visitors I will link to you. I believe that is the best way to move forward....
If I find a site of interest I will link to it, regardless of a return link.
I AM NOT INTERESTED IN CLONES!
If you find my site through WebmasterWorld, please forget you ever did, unless you think I will 'seriously' be interested in the 'unique' information you have!

But back to the real world, I just got one of those charming link requests informing me how important it is to reciprocate from a page with a minimum of PR2, yes that's PR2.

Well reciprocate wasn't exactly accurate because they wouldn't put their SINGLE link to my site from their PR0 page UNTIL AFTER I had sent them the location of the linkS from my site to their 2 sites, neither of which was related to my topic. So they'd be the ones doing the reciprocating, if any was done by them, and I doubt it actually would be.

Oh yeah, and if I wouldn't mind also adding a link to their third unrelated site they'd appreciate it.

I don't pay much attention to PR when it comes to links, unless the other party brings it up, which is a great way for them to be sure they won't be getting a link from me.

Ya know, I'd love do the deal, but I'm really darn busy laying around in my hammock right now so I'm gonna have to pass. I hope I don't hurt their feelings.
