When using the link: operator
it shows both internel (from the
corresponding web site) and
externel ones from other web sites.

Is there a way to substract internel
ones?

I did a seach at yahoo with and without
www. and "without www." brought
almost externel links.

This didn't work for Google and Yahoo.

Thanks martinibuster!

It works fine for Yahoo and MSN
but it doesn't work for Google.
Is there an alternative?

The syntax is almost exactly the same for Google:

link: yourdomain.com -site:yourdomain.com

You can also use Yahoo's Site Explorer, which offers pulldown options for viewing backlinks.
