I have a new website, i need to get listed.

I have a new website I have already contacted about 20 people for it to be listed in their site, and i have submitted it to search engines, and directories. What else can i do. Just wait?

Getting listed in the search engines won't do you much good unless you work on getting yourself some ranks.

[webmasterworld.com...] may help you see some other ways you can start marketing your site. Keep working on the quality of the site and start working on promoting your site in general. The search engines will list/index you once they find some of your links - but to rank well, you're going to need to start your marketing efforts. My two cents.... good luck. ;-)
