302 redirect still a 'link' in search engine eyes?

Hi, I'm working with a large price comparison site to provide review excerpts in exchange for traffic. But they use a 302 redirect link to point to my reviews. I was wondering if that will still help my link popularity.

Thanks!

SEs will penalize it.

I beg to differ... A LOT of high-profile websites use 302 redirect their readers to other websites. Not to mention that the problem has been discovered by Google for more than a year. You think they would at least provide some fixes for it.
