1) Call up Yahoo
2) In search bar, type in link:http://www.competitor.com
(Use your competitor's actual domain name of course.)
3) Hidden in there are sites that might very well link to yours.
If nothing else, you should learn something about the linking strategy of
your competitor, assuming they have one.
The reason for Yahoo is a more or less complete list.
