Apparently Google no longer condones automated comment posting on blogs that have enabled it.
So STAY AWAY FROM <blog submission software> unless you want to suffer the same fate I did!

PS: <snip> gave me excellent support while I was a user. But when I asked her for a refund, she simply did not reply. I finally asked Clickbank for the refund, which they they gave in 24 hours.

Yea, since about 2003. In *most* cases where people are selling them to others, the links are worthless anyway.
You write that the software exactly did what you wanted it to do. Nonetheless, you requested refund? May I ask you why you think that the software vendor is responsible for Google banning your website? Not to mention that this could have been happened anyway.

FWIW, blog comments do work. Build yourself a page that people will want to comment about, and let the links come naturally. (I make about $60 a month from two highly forumed and blogged pages.)
That is definitely misleading as anyone with any experience knows that is simply not true. In that respect, the software is not performing as advertised.
Sorry you got nailed, but thanks for posting the warning. Your post will probably saved other webmasters from suffering the same fate.
The seller site said that Google knew all about <snip> and tolerated it because
(1) Blog owners on blog.com could always block automated comment posting by selecting an option in the settings
(2) If automated commenting was not thus blocked, it meant the blog owner permitted them
I bought this logic, but unfortunately Google no longer does!

As far as I know they have never condoned any way of artificially enhancing your rankings.
If you are saying you got banned because you were using blog submission software, that would mean competitors could effectively wipe your site out by doing the same thing.
I don't buy it. I would imagine that if you were willing to use blog submission software to SPAM, then you were probably utilizing other black hat techniques which got you banned.
If you *were* 100% clean outside of the comment spam then Google has some work to do...

And yes, it IS possible for a competitor to spam blogs with a link back to your site, and in that way get you banned... this has actually started happening (there are reports of it on the web, I read one last week, but don't have the link).
Maybe that's why Google no longer tolerates automated blog commenting.
in researching what Google ( and most likely other search engines ) say, logarithmic growth of links is very dangerous over a short period of time.
if I were to do it, I would plan 180 to 360 days of linking. week 1 to 3 would create 1 or 2 links per day, then wait until the Google dance. after that every few weeks increase the submission rate to new blogs by 2 or 3. By the time week 40 is around, you are creating 20 to 40 new links per day.

There is no way submitting to blogs can get your site banned as anyone can submit just about anyone's site.

I am victim of such blog posting softwares. People like you keep posting comments on my blog thru softwares, attaching link to your site in the hyperlink.

Reminds me of a certain large company's opt-out-to-protect-your-copyright policy for one of its new services.
Now I do feel that it would take out all the new ones without a problem.
