Are the links from blogs more efective then those from web directories?! If I am doing 100 posts, 25 will apper as my back links next 2 days on google...
I did 1 week ago a massive web directory registration ... and from a list of 380 free (non reciprocal) web directories... I only have 3 back links! showed on google when I am doing :
"example.com" -site:example.com

Google doesn't show all the backlinks. The best measure of how good your backlinks are is if they're helping you rank. Current advice is to vary the sources of links.

Of the 380 you submitted to, how many accepted?

From the short list of sites that accepted, how many were clean href links with no sneaky redirects/java script?

The final number you have left?

How long ago was this done, it can take time to get picked up.

I have submitted to thousands of directories, you will notice only a few good ones will produce the goods.

This process can be done right after you have invested the time to weed out the rubbish.
