Hi all,

I am working on a site that is 7-8 months old. It has a fair amount of links, PR 4, and bots hitting it daily. However, in this website is a section we'll call "special widgets".

I was wondering if it is good SEO practice to start securing links on other sites right to the special widgets section. I once read that links down in the site can help the site overall.

Deep links to your special widgets would help in overall site SEO.

For any spider coming through the link your section will be fresh meat for it as opposed to the old home or links page.
