Internal links

Hey.

What happend with google and internal links?

I have a little website say www.xyz.com Under this site I have som categories. Under every category I have som product pages. These product pages are linking to all the other product pages in the same category. There are about 70 pages in each category. So every page gets 70 internal links. All links that link to one product page, have the same incomming text link.

Could I do this in another way? Has google change the algorithm regarding this? What if i change the text link so only 20-30 links are the same?
