Adwords
I would like to continue experimenting with affiliate programs. But I need traffic in order to test my ideas. From what I have read, adwords is a quick method to test an idea. Now I am in the process of figuring out which product to market with a small upfront investment.
What is the least amount of money(clicks) I should use for testing purposes? $50 for 1000 clicks at .05cents a click?
I guess I'll save any further comments/questions until I get a few replies to the thread.

Where can I look for a compiled list of websites willing to exchange targeted links? I've tried the search for "add url" "mykeyword". I have found quite a few, but that will take forever. I'm willing to do it if I must, but is there a safe and more effective me
Usually link exchange companies do this but it's been my experience that all I get is fluff from these sites, i.e., non related businesses wanting to trade links, i.e., casinos, etc.
There is no easy way to gather links. It's hard work. But when its in your control you can do a lot better job of finding quality links than with any other method.
There is one site that allows you to search for a keyword and it brings back sites according to page rank.
I usually search for a keyword and the word "link" and then it often brings up a page where the link will appear, saving time.
Also search for "getting good backlinks" for other ideas.
