Okay, I have several banner advertisers on my site which are affixed in a shared border used by about 200 pages.

My index page has a PR of 5.

Currently, the banners link directly to the advertiser site.

Would I be better off linking to a redirect page on my site and then to the advertiser in order not to give away so much PR, or does it not make a difference?

Thanks.

Dear Buzliteyear,

I suggest you to use a banner management script (i.e. cgi, php) in order to avoid any penalty due to site-wide off-site linking to the same site.

Please ensure also that your deal with the advertiser did not include direct linking to his website (most of the time, it doesn't when speaking for banner campaigns and not text links).
