Will this qualify as a link?

I've got a site from which I sell links. No, not outgoing links :), but incoming links to a niche calculator.

Right now, everyone gets a custom link like this:
www.domain.com/industry_tool/CUSTOMER/input.html, which they add to their site.

I'm thinking of using mod_rewrite to change this - with the specific intent of helping my domain rank. If I rewrite this link:
www.domain.com?CUSTOMER
to the fist link above, does this count as a 'good' link in the se's?

Right now, though I've got plenty of people using my calculators, every single one points to a unique page on the domain so I don't think the homepage gets much if any benefit.

If you are getting inbound links, the key then is to have these pages under your control link to other pages on your site. For example, if you link from the special link page to the home page, the PR from those outside links will "flow" to your homepage.
