How accurate results are in link checking tools?

As we know there are many link popularity checking tools available..my question is how accurate they are? Do they tell you the most important links? all of them? or some percent of the incoming links? Is there any accurate tool available out there?

No tool is completely accurate. Google, for example, doesn't show all of their backlinks and has stopped listing them in order of importance. Some tools guess at what Google thinks by using the backlinks from other SE's and looking at their pagerank. At best think of the tools as a general guide. At worst....
