I have a few questions.
Q.1. I am trying to get some links. I have read that you should *not* link to a website that has the same kw phrase and carries the same product. **That it should *closely relate* to your kw phrase. Linking only to sites that have related phrases in the area of phrases you are marketing.
Q. So if i am trying to use the kw "credit repair", should i only get links from sites that are related to "credit repair"?
Such as "credit debt" "fixing credit" "credit consolidation" "credit reduction" "credit counseling" etc.
Am i right? If not, link to what type?
Q.2. Should i also link to sites that offer the product "credit repair"? I wonder because of the direct competition with them. *Meaning also having their links on my site and possibly losing custumers.

No.Inbound links can come from anywhere.If they comes from sites with same content this willn't hurt you.

No.In this case you could have benefits only if decide to set up a "hub" site about your subject.
