What is better? (All other things being equal)

Ten links from a PR6 site

or

One link on ten different sites each with PR5

Basicly does it help to have multiple links on the same site or should I spend my time getting one link on lots of different sites with lower PR?

Interesting question:

One link on ten different sites each with PR5

I think is this the better solution.

Since,to get more inbound links from the same site could result in two different effects:

- If the links point to the same page ,SEs counts them as a ONLY link.So ,without further benefits.

- if they point to different pages the PR of the "linking" page will be shared equally between them.

Basicly does it help to have multiple links on the same site or should I spend my time getting one link on lots of different sites with lower PR?

To consider a lot of different sites is better, but you have to pay attention principally to the number of their outbound links.
Remember that their PR is equally shared between all their OUTBOUND links.

So, a link from a PR 8 site with 100 outbound links worth less than a link from a PR 4 site with 10 outbound links.
