"Sponsored Links" on local newspaper web sites

I've seen this quite a bit...

I'm sure some/most of you have seen this, but I just stumbled upon it today. Per forum terms, I won't post the addresses of the online newspapers, but you can go to many of the local sites for papers (one example is the <snip> - hope it's ok to say that) and find "Sponsored Links" on the bottom of the home page.

There are so many local papers with this same type of links that I have to think it's coming from one source.

Anyone seen this?

Thanks much,

~Canton

Hi,
Let's not talk about specific websites and businesses. Thanks. Also, we try to carry discussions in the open.

For your answer, you may try going to Google and typing in something like "text link seller" or broker etc.

Good luck.
