link brokers

I was just wondering what everyone thought about signing up with "Text Link Brokers." Are there any link brokers worth signing up with? Or would you generally say stay away? Thanks.

Has anyone had any success/failure with "linkworth"?

I generally stay away from things like this because you end up overpaying for links that are not that good anyway.

I sent e-mails to a few different "text link brokers" and pretty much discovered that. I think I will avoid them for the time being, and I will be very careful in the future. Thanks.

avoid them.....their stuff is getting flagged by google. I had a #8 ranking in google for my main keyword......i signed up for a ROS newspaper link that was on every page of the site, and my page left the serps. whats worse is this newspaper site actually had my keyword in the title tag of every page....so i thought it was relevant and safe. i was wrong. if it's a new site it should be ok...but established link sites that have been around for awhile selling links are most likely tagged by google....and i suspect yahoo as well.

i think the new wave will be reciprocal seo html entry pages.

There are good ones and bad ones. I have bought links and saw a site go down in SERPS. Canceled the ads and went back up. Have found it to be more effective in Yahoo.
