Linking for PR vs Traffic

Which link would you prefer?

We see a lot of threads here about linking for PR, but not as much emphasis on linking for traffic.

So I thought I'd post this and see what folks thought.

A "friend".... yeah that's the who, "a friend", recently got 2 links from the same site, but on different pages.

One page is PR2 and has only 4 outgoing links on it. This page sent 500+visitors in a month.

The other page is PR 4 but has about 50 out going links on it. This page sent him 350+ visitors in a month.

Which would you prefer?

OK, getting both PR and traffic would be nice, but if you could only choose one, which would it be and why?

I prefer this one hands-down. More traffic and less links on page.

Thanks guys.

That's what I thought too, but I thought I'd ask.

[hmmmm.... a couple days, a couple replies, maybe the answer was too obvious?]
