Hi all,

I have been offered...

12 domains with more then 400 PR5-PR2 pages and 100s of other pages, Links in all pages for $100. All sites are main stream and no adult or similar sites.....is this a good idea to bump up my site on SE?

Investigate each domain on Alexa to see if the traffic at those websites is even worth the $100/month in links.

A month wont help you much in the long run, you would need to sort out 3 months min, if it works keep with it for as long as you think its working...

Is the website on topic?

Does it look spammy?

Will you get real traffic and not just for search engines?

These are some things you should keep in mind, if it is on topic doesnt look spammy and you might gets real hits from the exchange, then yes it looks ok again try it for around 3months if it helps then try to stay with it for longer...

Since it appears as though da95649 is looking for a bump in the serps, the first thing I would do is check both Y! and Google and see if these sites are showing up as backlinks for any of the domains they might already be pointing at

should the seller give me the list of domains/links before I pay him?

Absolutely ask to know the domains. It's meaningless otherwise. They should be on-topic and you should know whether they are true links or instead simply redirects from another page on the site.
