Get one way links from blogs

Is there any way to subit your link to blogs? Those I saw can be edited by owners and don't have any links for submission...
How do you get one way links from blogs?

Say or do something stupid and you'll get them to link to you. Or say something profound. Or make the news and they'll link to you.

Say where? How do I call their attention? Aren't bloggers people who write about a theme without noticing your existence?

For example you could say a very front of mind celebrity was in an accident, then find some fan forums and drop the link to your fake news story. Just make sure you don't have your name on the registration and depending on the popularity of the celebrity make sure you have LOTS of bandwidth, and I do mean LOTS.

Not on 99% of them, no - not to get on the sidebar or within a post. Aside from leaving your link when you comment.

Thats because they're usually links to other blogs that the blogger in question reads or likes if you are talking about the large lists they usually have in the sidebar.

Almost anyone can comment on a blog and if the blogs aren't using a redirect script, the url you input while making the comment will show as a backlink.

Um, no. Most bloggers are diarists or current event bloggers or a mix. Meaning, a lot will comment about interesting news stories, cool sites they've found, TV shows etc. JibJab is an example of something that flew through blogworld gaining thousands of one way links. How do you get their attention? Create something worth them linking to and then sprinkle the url in comments of high traffic blogs.
