Avoiding ISPs and Hosts

We've been running into some problems with our ISP recently as we're sending out 2,000+ emails a month.

All targeted, on topic link requests. Each site has been manually checked and the emails are customised.

The emails go out via our ISPs' servers and replies come to our web hosts servers.

Does anyone know a way to cheaply & legitamately send up to 2,000+ manually customised emails a month without running into this issue?

I pretty sure that there are ways around this but any clues as to how would be good.

BTW, this follows on from [webmasterworld.com...] which is a slightly different issue IMHO

TIA
J

>>>purchase a mass mailer with its own smtp
Tried that but it doesn't seem very reliable at all?

I guess I'm looking for a bullet-proof SMTP server that won't give problems.
