So we've a PR8 client. They've asked us to produce a definitive listing of every single link to their website that exists on the Internet for non-web marketing purposes.

Can this be done?

Obvious first thought would be to search Google, Yahoo & ATW for mentions of the clients' URL.

What happens if there are 10,000 G results returned when you search for "www.xyz.com" of which only 100 are from the client site (www.xyz.com)

G only gives 1,000 results so how does one get a listing of the other 8,900 incoming URLs?

Are there any tools / scripts /services that you know of to generate such a listing from G / Y / ATW?

(Please adhere to TOS & delink any relevant URLs)
TIA
J

Try typing in google
+www.xyz.com it can show you a decent amount of links pointing to your site.

or try LinkSurvey tool it shows your link popularity over a bunch of se including google and yahoo

Thanks Vork. I assume having checked their site that they will still not be able to cross the 1,000 SERPs limit from Google.

Anything else out there?
