Here the scenario,

I found a very good an on topic site for my web page and found they could link to my page. The site is a PR7 and their link entry page ( www.thesite/linkpage.cfm) is a PR7 also, but then they have categories listed in the link entry page pointing to a dinamically generated category page ( www.thesite/linkcategory.cfm?category=##) which is showing PR0 :-( ... then from that page they link to all the sites paer categories .. text and clean links.

Will it be a good and worth link? or the PR0 from the child page will kill the PR7 from the parent page?

CS.

Just to be sure, are you saying that your link would be placed on this dynamically created PR0 page? If that's the case, it's useless from a PR perspective. But if it will generate traffic for you, it's a good move.

yes jo1ene,

the link will be put in the PR0 page .. what I think is that they are in some way restricting that page in the robots.txt or so .. because it has only 1 parameter in the URL so it won't be an issue for GG to index it and less if it is linked from a PR7.. but what you say is true .. traffic could be a good point there.

Thanks!
