Keeping it related - though linking to everyone

Certainly at the moment it feels like the major focus, courtesy of G and the PR fallacies, the net is about maximum Ranking authority.

However, i feel and certainly am starting to think that if you can promote the little, unheard of sites, with just one potential customer, that eventually when it swings back, its a good thing, rather than being such a maximist in ranking terms, that everyone with less than PR5 is overlooked.

Hence, if even one of the PR2's brings a potential customer to the sites or the company's that i look after the sites for, that its a great deal as some of the products are between £*** / $*** and £**** / $****, with some being as expensive as a small-new-car.

I suppose after all the rubbish that G has given us with the Florida update, which was the first time i ever had a site that was torn apart from a ranking point of view, that the grass root building dependant on strong inter-website relationships is the strongest position as there is no logical deceptive tact or offense that an SE can take towards a grass roots linking topology.

The added bonus, especially in a tight related context is the un-thought of kw combo's, even with G's and OV's predictive assocaitive technologies of context matching, i still feel this is a serious area to be explored.

I'm conducting a link campaign and the worst are the armchair seo's who turn their nose up at my white-barred link area (even though my email clearly states the area is one week old, duh).

I'm currently ranking in the top three for "(Search Terms Here)" and the folks who came onboard are receiving targetted traffic.

Later on I'm going to be charging a donation fee for entrance- which is another good rea$on to do the link exchange with an upstart. One guy I linked with 2 years ago is currently charging $300/year and I'm getting multiple links for free.

Can you dig it?
;) Y

fair comment.

i was thinking more along the lines of using the linking - i think (duck) as originally (c.1993) intented for serachers to find their immediate requirements without going through a multi-axis of in-house politics or inter-company bull-linking for gain beyond getting customers to the products they want to buy, hence 'why they are searching'! 1st jump stuff.

I currently have one site with over 100 unaccounted for backlinks, that i feel should be listed for a multitude of reasons, though primarily of concern to the site owners that i do the websites for. Are they going to affect the website, in its current position - no. will it spread the will of the marketing potential of the website - yes.
