Hello there,

I want to know that what is anchor text and how it help to increase inboud links and getting higher ranks?

I heard that it helps a lot for getting higher ranks.
Please give me some codes for using anchor text and its syntax.

"Anchor text" should be the keyword or keyphrase you want to target.

linking that url with that key term or word.

Not all engines will pay attention, but try it, some do.

Gautam, PageRank and ranking in serps are too different issues, but one can go for both at a time. If you earn backlinks from PR rich pages (pages, not 'sites') with the keyword/phraes in the link text, you'll see a rise in your ranking as well as PR. But if you are more concerned about ranking in serps, get backlinks with desired link text wihtout worrying too much about the PR of the linking page.
