urls without hyperlinks

I've got a few directory sites that use Gossamer Treads software to link to me.

What I've noticed is

1. The site that links to me uses the keywords I provided, but with the following hyperlink - [someurl.com...]

From reading some of the threads, I assume this doesn't give me any PR?

2. Below the above link is a description of my site along with my full url without a hyperlink. Does having my url on another site without a hyperlink generate any PR for me?

Check the source from 'View Source' to see if the link to your site is a redirect. Redirects are not counted as backlinks. On top of that, a link with a weired url is always a fishy affair. The status bar should display your url on hovering mouse on your link.
