Getting liks to site

I have just set up my first web site and heard I can have links to other sites on my own , vice versa , how do I go about this?

Cannot find backward links? where would this be?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'd skim through this forum's posts - you'll find good advice about how to best identify link sites, how to contact them, how to spot link cheaters, and how to manage your link program. Good luck, link development is hard work but it WILL pay off!
