Do redirects from free host sites to a main site help with linking structure?

Hi

If I use free host sites and submit them to the search engines and install a redirector on the site to my main site. Will it be good, or?

+ Should I add something to the redirctor site, like metatags etc... Please give me info here on how I can do this best :)

Thanks,
Trond Erik

Of course you're going to get visitors. Any linking method will draw in some visitors.

However, bad linking methods will get you pulled from SERPs.

If you use linking methods liek FFA Links, Link Farms, Guestbook Links and Search Engine Cloakers, you could be penalized and Banned from Google almost for ever.
