How long does it take for alexa to show new links?

Several of my sites are linked to many sites... but alexa show 0 in links... and that after 6 months?.... how can that be.

And how does alexa, search engines find and list these links?

I think the answer is never.

Linkbacks to our site haven't changed in Alexa for years.

Note though that Google's link:yourdomain.com doesn't give the accurate results it used to.

alltheweb seems to be a bit more accurate but - like Google - will still intentionally leave some linkbacks out.

Google usually ONLY shows PR3/PR4 links that link to you. Quality is also that is important.

Work consistently and don't let your PR leak away for nothing and take due care in linking people. if you link to A and A is penalized for some reason, your link to A is like a vote for A. Then every Voter might be penalized. Take due care to link to people.
