How to get maximum PR for the home page?

Have a big, often changing site, want to maximize home page PR

I have a large site (1000+ pages) that is added new pages bi-weekly. Until recently, the home page had a PR of 7 with others having a PR of 2 to 5. After the recent Google update, the PR has somehow leveled: home page is now PR6, and about five others became PR6 too.

For certain reasons, which I'd rather not explain now, I'd like the home page to have as high PR as possible, without caring about PR of other pages at all. What's the best way to achieve that?

I'm ready to use cloaking or JavaScript'ed links, if necessary.

Make sure each page througout the site links back to your home page, once in the top (a clickable logo, for example) and then perhaps in the footer (copyright notice or similar).

That might do the trick / or help.

You can also have a lot of GOOD links for your homepage. Both extrenal and internal links to your homepage will certainly help.
