Problems with google and yahoo search with Opera this weekend

Starting Saturday night I haven't been able to access google with Opera. It works fine with IE and Firefox. I also can't use yahoo search. I can get to the main yahoo page, but the search will just hang forever. It's the same problem with google, just an indefinite hang. Other sites are fine with Opera. And google and yahoo work fine with my other browsers. Are any of you experiencing similar problems? Could this be an opera specific spyware?

I had a problem using Opera for Google on Saturday - I switched the url to www2.google.com and the problem vanished.

I don't think it's spyware/adware -- I ran all my protection and came up with nothing.

It's quite odd. Every blue moon it starts working again and then it stops. I tried www2 and www3 but they aren't working for me right now. Maybe later. Hehe.

I hope google fixes it soon.

No supprise to me.

Acording to W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) they are NOT VALID HTML PAGES so why would you expect them to display in all browers correctly.

If you don't beleive me check it for yourself [validator.w3.org...]
