The makers of one of the world's most popular e-mail software packages and the designers of an alternative Web browser have teamed up to boost each other's share of the Net software market.

The Eudora e-mail software client and Opera Web browser will be promoted and distributed together online and elsewhere.

Wooo! Been using Eudora for some time now, and anxiously awaiting the release of Opera for Mac. Nice to see good software/companies teaming up for once.

Wow grnidone! I didn't see this post until just now.

We are still trying to figure out the ramifications of the Eudora <-> Opera alliance. Sounds like it will just be a mutual promotion and distribution pact. They won't embed each others product.

Either way, that is great news and another big endorsement of Opera from a major software player.

There are actually quite a few Mac users here.
