- Is there a way to turn off referral string generation?
- Any way to change the agent name?
- How do you put a home button on the main button bar next to forward/backward.
- Is the mouse gesture hack usable now?
- How can I turn off popups except when I click on a link that is a popup?
- Can I redefine the keyboard even if it requires editing a file?

Home button issue:

[home.no.net...]

It works well, but I had to toggle the themes one or twice to get the correct button graphic.

Popups:

Under preferences > privacy and security > pop-ups, check "reject pop-ups". This should allow requested pop-ups but not un-requested ones.

I'm sure the rest can be done, but I will defer to the Moz experts.

a) using newest prefbar: [xulplanet.com...]
b) "hidden preferences" edit prefs.js or make a user.js or (since 1.3b) type the "URL" about:config
and edit or create a line with user_pref("network.http.sendRefererHeader",xxx);
xxx=2 send all referrers, xxx=1 only for html, xxx=0 never

- Any way to change the agent name?
a) UAbar, limited changes are possible with prefbar.
[uabar.mozdev.org...] (you may like refspoof.mozdev.org as well)
b) user_pref("general.useragent.override", "whatever you want");

- How do you put a home button on the main button bar next to forward/backward.
I have no aswer for that one, but you could reassign the throbber to whatever you want.
