Hi folks --

i have to figure out a few things...

i see this in myphpadmin 'status' menu

max. concurrent connections 49 --- ---
Failed attempts 81 163.00 58.27%
Aborted 0 0.00 0.00%
Total 139 279.71 100.00%

i am wondering about these 'failed attempts'

how do we get to some sort of error log file...

i see this in the 'variable' tab in phpmyadmin
log OFF
log bin OFF
log error
log slave updates OFF
log slow queries OFF
log update OFF
log warnings 1
