Online database-driven application creator tools

I have been looking for some online databse-driven web application creator tools. Basically, for dummies in our company's research dept who need to look beyond maintaining Excel spreadsheets and start storing information that would easily searchable and presentable in a secure online interface.

I have come across two such websites that offer pretty much on these lines:

1. i-database at [web.peoriadesignweb.com...]

2. ezDatabase at [ezdatabase.org...]

Could someone help me complete my due diligence by offering advice and/or comments?
