My host has just upgraded there SQL servers to 2005 which leaves me with a problem in that my current Enterprise Manager will not connect. I have downloaded the free SQL Visual Developer Express Edition which allows me to view the database but not manage the data. Can you suggest the best route for me to take so that I can again have the same functionality as Enterprise Manager had.

You're gonna need the sql server 2005 tools. Can you get your hands on a copy of sql 2005?

I have found a download of the SQL 2005 Management MSI Package. Which says contains the correct tools. I think I need to uninstall the sql 2005 desktop engine first as I am getting some error when i try to install.
