Second MySQL database

adding wordpress to site

Hi,

I am hoping to transition my site to wordpress, which requires my servers MySQL information. If I give it this info and set up wordpress, will this harm my current phpBB database?

are you using two seperate databases or the same one? If you are using 2 seperate databases then it shouldn't matter.

as long as there are no tables of the same name then it shouldn't really be a problem.
