User Privileges Problem

DB user failed to connect

i have a strange problem that accurs when i tried to connect to mysql server from another server by an user the database saied access denied, and when i tried to connect from server other than the privues with same user the connection success, allthow the user privilege config has been seted to accept all ips and after some minutes both servers was denied and still strange problem for some time one of them success and other time the second one success and the first faild.

can any one facing problems like this i hope some body tell me what may be happend

Well that is a tough one to troubleshoot, no doubt! The first thing that comes to mind is to always remember to FLUSH PRIVILEGES whenever you make administrative changes in the database privileges.

but the strangeness thing is that user has been denided suddenly after it was working in real time system for a long time and i didn't make any changes in privileges of that user.

Maybe it is not the user's privileges in MySQL that are the problem. Is the error truly a permission issue? Or did the end user change some setting on their machine? Firewall, antivirus software with worm protection, etc? Or maybe your server firewall has a rule that is blocking?

First I would want to be certain of the error to make sure it is indeed a privilege/permission issue.

I appreciate your help and your quick answers.
now i solve this problem by setting a new password for that user.
And the point which i forgot it is mysql return the messege : "access denied for username@ipaddress" for that user and ip and the privilege for the user is to accept all ips.

I think it is realy an indeed privilege/permission problem, but there are some probabilty to say : some one hack my server and change the password for that user , but i didn't find any indication for this.
