Ok, since this is the Rest of the Engines in the Search Engine World I think it's an appropriate place for this post.
( since there seems to be forum coverage for the Northern Hemisphere but none for the Southern! )

I'm looking for any Latin America search engines that I could submit to. I have a client in Texas ( a physician ) that gets a lot of clients from south and central america coming to his practice and wants to better advertise by using the search services specific to those parts of the world. Can anyone tell me some sites to look at? I haven't got a clue on it.
thanks!

The espanol site I manage receives the most traffic from this site.
[univision.com...]

Other good referers are
[yupi.com...]
[elsitio.com...]

20 submits were done to Central and South American search engines six months ago and these three engines continue to refer.

I would post the full list, but it was lost in a fatal system crash :(

If you really want Latin American search engines, the biggest list in the world is right here:
[db.alba36.com...] at Alba36. Awesome! Remember: You asked for them! I have nothing to do with your losing sleep over this.

startup

The site was a bilingual site, espanol with a mirror english side. The site has a .com address.
Submits were done under the espanol site url.

Hope I answered your question.

>>>I think there is great expansion potentional there.

shhhh! That's my plan! ;)

First place to start is FAST. A lot of the spanish language sites use them to power their results.

That's all I'm going to reveal. There are a few others that can really give you hits but well......you know.

Ok I'll reveal one....Google. They will probably bring you the most.
