Does YPN have fewer MFA's?

A firefox preview tool is discussed [webmasterworld.com...] I downloaded it to see how / if it worked. Interestingly it attempts to compare ad targeting between Google and YPN.

I know there are limitations to the official preview tool, and I'm sure the YPN tools have similar limitations. Also, as the tool mentioned is not an official tool of either ad network it may be displaying hopelessly wrong ads anyway!

We can't get YPN here in the UK, so I can't test the program. I was interested to know what targeting might be like. The thing I noticed was that in the Google banners 3 out of 4 ads are MFA's. All ones I've banned of course. Without blocking, these are exactly the ads I would have seen so the tool seems accurate enough for Google. By comparison, Yahoo was only showing genuine ads.

How do those who have actually tried the two programs find MFA targeting? Is YPN ten steps ahead of Google here?

I will assume you are referencing the so called ""made for adsense" sites. From what I have seen, there is not too much of that on YPN. I have run across one or two, but compared to the one or two on AdSense, that is great. I suspect this largely has to do with the fact that YPN is invite only and more stringent. Once it opens up, time will tell if Yahoo (unlike Google) actually cares in the slightest.
