I haven't received my December's payment which was sent on January.
This is what has been happening every month since January
1. I call them up
2. They say they have cancelled the check and if I get it after today it won't be valid. They tell me the next check will be issued on the first.
3. I never receive the cancelled check or the real check?
4. Back to step number 1
I am so frustrated. What should I do? They keep cancelling my check but seems like the check is never actually mailed despite their claims because I never get the cancelled check.
Is anyone else having this issue? If so how long did it take you to actually receive the check?
Interestingly I have received checks issued after the check in question.
If they would have sent it, shouldn't I receive at least the cancelled check?
How can I ask Yahoo! to *really* send me my check?
Anyone from Yahoo here?
Please assist as on phone I am being led into the above mentioned cycle again and again without any resolution. I am very patient but three months is pushing it.
I really love YPN, just would like to get this resolved.

Mine shows up every month just fine...
We received a check from Yahoo on the new address meaning Yahoo! got the new address.
Then the lastest check was sent to the old address meaning as if Yahoo! somehow pulled old records from the graves?
The problem is Yahoo is quick in answering but really slow in resolving issues.
They keep cancelling our check every month that was presumably sent and then making us wait another month. For three months this is what's going on.
Atleast with Google (I hate AS), they would overnight the payment.
We are very frustrated.
My december check was also very late in arriving. I wanted to be patient due to the holidays and waited a long time to contact them. Once I contacted "David" he assured me that they would issue a new check and put a stop payment on the already issued check in 10 days.
I rec'd the original check within the 10 day period, so I called and asked if a stop payment had already been issued or if this check was safe to deposit. David could not give me a straight answer, understandable that he may not have all of the info needed to give a correct answer. I asked if he could please find out the answer or pass me to the correct party. The only answer I could get out of him was to just deposit the check and see what happened.
No matter how I tried I could not get him to understand that if I followed his advice I could have many of my own checks bounce, costing me who knows how much money. He talked to me like I was an idiot for not wanting to follow his god awful advice. after a while he got tired of listening to me and promised to find out and get back to me that afternoon. Of course that never happened so a couple days later I called back, sadly I got David again :(. I asked for his supervisor, you would have thought that I asked for a date with his wife or something. He played games, tried everything he could think of to avoid passing me off to the sup as requested. Finally after seeing I was not going to be played games with, he put me through to the boss man. At this point I understood very well why David does not have the ability to help people, it seems to start at the top.
2- For check issued on Mar 1st, 2006
" Checks have already been issued for March; if you have not received
your check by March 18th please contact us and we will reissue the check."
Basically it seems like they are just making things up without following them. I even found an email from Ray Devlin who wrote in Feb saying that he has my new address and the check is being sent to the address. Trust me no check was ever sent. We didn't even receive a cancelled one.
Being in beta is one thing. Intentionally not sending the payments to publishers is another. I mean I hate Adsense but they were way more professional even in their early days.
What kind of beta is this where they are asking for 45 more days to clear payment of three months ago? I am sorry but sounds like bunch of BS being passed around.
They shouldn't even call themselves in beta. This is more like pre-Alpha stuff.
Seeing their response, I am seriously considering switching back to AS (something I never imagined doing)
I mean good grief! 45 more days for Jan's payment? Wow!
And not to mention, I am literally begging them to send me my 1099 and they haven't sent it despite three emails. May be don't recognize that I need it before April 15, 2006.
Wake up YPN and help solve these issues.
Now that was one and a half month ago. In the last email we received two days ago they say they sent it to the old address. It's quite clear to me the games that are being played. All they do is keep cancelling checks and promising the next month (only to hypothetically cancel the hypothetical check).
I have email after email from Yahoo! people contradicting the information given in previous emails.
I mean just say in Feb that we won't send it until April. Why make false promises? I will say it once again providing phone support is of no use if they cannot provide any service.
Why over promise and under deliver?
