when will beta test stop

i have a friend that is in the yahoo publisher beta test program, he revieved a email informing him that the beta test is finishing and would be allowed back in when they restart in about march of 06. has anyone else revieved this information or is this a polite way to kick him off the program.

We have 2 accounts setup-1 for my girl and 1 for me-totally different subjects/websites. She recieved a e-mail from "y" saying the beta testing would be ending soon, and thanking her for her participation in the testing phase of it. It also said that she would be automatically enrolled when it goes full version. 2 days later ads stopped appearing, but you can still login to her account and see reports etc..Soooo maybe it is getting close to being done with testing-maybe....
I talked to a rep and they said everything was okay with her account and no terms were violated, just that they are phasing older users out........bummer!

I've switched all my sites over to YPN, it would be a blow to have to switch to another advertiser! It would mean a month without income (due to either Net30 or Net45)...

Let's hope this is not widespread, if its true that beta is going to end in March, I hope all of our accounts last that long!

If YPN is planning to kick law abiding loyal US beta testers out just because YPN wants to make way for newer faces, this will be a big blow to YPN efforts to establish itself as a reliable, trustworthy company with no "secret agendas" of taking advantage over hardworking publishers who worked tirelessly to move their ads over to YPN and optimize their pages for weeks or even months.

We should call these guys up and ask for a clarification. I know I will.

Me too. Yesterday.

Trouble is that YPN just doesn't work for me.
1. Ads are too far off topic, even when using the targeted version.
2. Too few clicks with several days between each click. A total waste of space.
3. If more than one adblock is on a page, each has the identical ads in it making the second block useless.
