We just started seeing this today, hitting root domains only, so far... Trace Routes to a network IP bank in the Seattle, WA area, but can't get any further info. on it..

Hmm yes, traces out to a isp block at http://www.nwlink.com [nwlink.com] What made you think it was somebody? Pattern to the spidering or just the throughness?

Brett, The UA name, and the fact they were just hitting root domains, tells me it's some type of spider... These root domains have not been submitted anywhere yet.... Inktomi finds them over time, if we don't submit, so that's not too unique, but sure would like to know the owner of this UA...

The company name showed up in one of the lists of IP address blocks returned by trace.
