AOL has spiders for their proxy caches, but none for search engines. Cresent is a spider you can purchase and run on your own box...

Actually Crescent like Devsoft's IP works, are ActiveX controls for Visual C++, and Visual Basic, that contain a variety of http,FTP,Daemon,finger procedures...
Most times you see Crescent in the UA, though the UA property is configurable.
