Just got a visit from this one:

155.229.70.6
Slurp.so/1.0+(slurp@inktomi.com;+http://www.inktomi.com/slurp.html)

Robots.txt + default

AND 155.229.70.6 GET /robots.txt - 404 604 310 80 Slurp/si+(slurp@inktomi.com;+http://www.inktomi.com/slurp.html)

robots.txt + default, several times with app. 2 hours interval

AND later with same IP: Lycos_Spider_(T-Rex)

IP resolves to: pao-s02.gw.epoch.net

Obviously a fake...

Anybody knows what this is about ?

Do you have cloaked pages?

Looks like someone is spoofing various search_engine_spider_user_agents to try and view the pages you submitted to the engines.

I'd ban their IP

Hi

Thats my guess too, I'll ban their IP and [eni.net???...]
is the same as [epoch.net...]

Thanks
