I've seen this user agent in my logs lately - just requesting index page... but I haven't been able to find anything in a Google search (also no results from a search in WebmasterWorld).

Yes, I'm also quite curious as to know why this bot is hitting my site at every hour. It is quite annoying and even after including it in .htaccess, it still comes anyway... at every hour. This has been going on for about a month already after a few months of inactivity from it.

The only thing I found online about this annoying bot was the website, with the same name. Apparently the site offers a website monitoring service, which incidently I have not signed-up for. So I'm curious as to why the bot keeps coming.

Other info I've found about it online is that some ppl have apparently been receiving unsolicited emails from this said site offering them a password to access an account (to which they have not even signed-up for) to monitor their websites.

Overall, I'm not particularly pleased with this bot's behaviour and am quite hesistant to email the said company to stop the activity, considering that they have allegedly been sending out unsolicited email. Anyone else has encountered this bot and managed to stop it completely?

Im not entirely sure where I heard this but sometimes competitors sign up to these services to see if you change the content on your website, the bot checks if any changes happens and notifies the member.
