Does sympatico.ca run spiders?

This guy was after me yesterday, and I have been thinking since I traced it that the u/a doesn't fit for a spider, but it traced pack to HSE-Montreal-ppp144012.sympatico.ca.

Anyone know if this is a spider, or just a surfer with a clicking disorder?

We were under the impression that Sympatico.ca utilized the FAST DB?

That was what I read in the othe forum too, that sympatico was one of the many, though sadly underpublicized, partners of fast. I sure wish they were a little more visible...

Anyway, this didn't hit my site very much, but it just didn't sit well with me when I was pouring over the logs. I'll just keep pondering it, and if anyone else has information, I'd appreciate it. Thanks RZ.

Cheers,

Sympatico.ca is an ISP and their default search engine is Lycos.ca. Sympatico is either owned by Bell Canada or partnered with Bell. They should soon be the largest ISP in Canada at the rate they are expanding. They have been on a advertising blitz for the past 6 months.

Ahh, good to know. I'll just treat it as a good sign, then, and trust in the seo gods.

Cheers,
