Spidered a couple pages a week ago. Came back today and hit every page. Always has the IP: 63.97.116.101

Did some digging and got nothing. Anyone else seen her?

I have seen her and don't have a clue - apparently didn't find me too interesting, though, and followed no links out. I'm a bit more curious about what Rutgers Univ is about.

That is a very interesting find Scott:

It ends up at at a peering partner of Alter.net (uunet):

14 196 ms 191 ms 193 ms 189.ATM6-0.GW8.PAO1.ALTER.NET [152.63.52.73]
15 213 ms 193 ms 191 ms sri2-gw.customer.alter.net [157.130.203.166]
16 235 ms 258 ms 262 ms 63.97.116.101

Which usually means a OC3 connection to the net. I've tried snooping around that c-block and can't find anything there that looks interesting. Arin just shows it as alternet.

I think you may have something there. Air, little?

That thing has been crawling all over the web. I really do not know much about it, I'll post when I get some dirt.

Marcia,

If it is the ru-robot you are wondering about, then there is nothing to worry about. I emailed the owner, and it seems that it is a web-structure study. Sounds quite interesting to me.

Marcia - here is a sentence or two about her: [cs.rutgers.edu...]
From another page: "Her research interests include analyzing the structure of the web for the purposes of ranking and clustering web pages and identifying web communities."
